How do I copy a Course Style?

Course Styles enables authors of any discipline to create, manage, share and duplicate custom or company standard styles throughout all their courses in Claro. You can even copy Styles within your current course or to other courses to save time and maintain unity between courses.

To copy Course Styles from another course:

  1. Select Styles from the Home tab to open the Style Editor.
  2. Select Copy from the bottom of the Style Editor panel.
  3. From the pulldown menu, select From Another Course.
  4. Select the course from which you want to copy a Style.
Note: The last selected course for the current session will be selected by default. If you wish to choose a different course you may search by course title.
  5. Select OK.A list of available Styles will display.
  6. Select the Styles you want to copy and then select Copy. The newly copied Styles will appear in the Style Editor.

To copy a Course Style from the current course:

  1. Select Styles from the Home tab to open the Style Editor.
  2. Choose the Style you'd like to copy.
  3. Select Copy from the bottom of the Style Editor panel.
  4. From the pulldown menu, select Current Style. A copy of the selected Style will appear in the Style Editor with the word Copy in front of the title.

Note: Copying a course, or any part of a course into different course, will not copy the Course Styles contained in the original. If you wish to have the same Styles applied to the new course, you must use the To copy Course Styles from another course process detailed above to do so.
