How do I set an element or group of elements to be hidden on load? How do I remove hidden on load?

An element or group of element can easily be set to be hidden on load so that they are not visible to the learner when the page first loads. Typically this is done when setting up an action for the element, but can also be done independently of any action.

To set an element or group to Hidden On Load:

  1. From the Layers panel, select the element or group you want Hidden On Load.
  2. From the Element Interaction section of the Interaction tab, select Hidden On Load. Note that a closed eye icon will appear next to the element(s) on the stage.

To remove Hidden On Load from an element or group:

  1. From the Layers panel, select the element or group from which you want to remove Hidden On Load.
  2. From the Element Interaction section of the Interaction tab, deselect Hidden On Load. Note that the closed eye icon that was next to the element(s) on the stage will disappear.

Note: Showing and Hiding of elements must respect the level at which they were set. For example: If you have set a Group of elements to be Hidden On Load and then try to Show a single element within that Group, the element will remain hidden. If you want to show the single element, you must first remove the Hidden On Load from the Group using the steps above.
