How do I make my courses available to dominKnow Mobile app users?

dominKnow's mobile player provides organizations with an integrated way to deliver training content to any user—at home, at the office, or on the road. The new player provides access to learning content without the need for continuous internet connectivity. Learners are free to consume content where and when they want it—on any mobile iOS or Android device.

To make your courses available for dominKnow Mobile app users:

  1. Publish your course as SCORM 1.2 or TinCan.
  2. Download the ZIP package.
  3. Upload the ZIP package to your website or intranet/location where you want to make your course available for download.
  4. Add or edit an HTML page to include links to the zipped packages.The HTML links must use the following format:

<a href="dominknowmobile://?url=link to course package">Course Name</a>

For the iOS app:

We recommend you also add the following meta tag to your HTML page. This will provide a direct link to the mobile app for installing. Below is an image of how the link will be displayed on your website when viewed from an iPad or iPhone, followed by the meta tag:

<meta name="apple-itunes-app" content="app-id=854735415, affiliate-data=dominKnow, Inc., app-argument=yourURL">

Note: Replace yourURL with the URL of the HTML page you have just created or edited to include this information.
