The card sort activity can be assigned to a variable, that's done on the Options tab when you have the element selected on the page.

The variable is a numeric value, basically a score for the learner based on how they did on the first placement of each card. For example, if there are three cards and they dragged two of them to the correct category and one to the wrong category, the score would be 67%.

When the learner has dragged all three cards, they are shown the Correct, Incorrect or Partially Correct feedback based on how they performed on the first drops. And there isn't a separate feedback level for the activity over all. If the learner wasn't perfect for each first drop they're also shown a Try Again button to try and improve. The Try Again has a setting of up to three attempts (which isn't author-settable like in other similar activities). The number of times the learner does Try Again, though, isn't something that can be tracked/ counted outside of the activity.

So, there is a variable tracking a score but there isn't a way to know if the learner earned that score on a specific try (first, second or third attempt) to determine if they are done all attempts.
