Can you explain more the interactive components under the Engage tab?

As part of our last feature release we added several new options to the Engage tab, including the Scenario Builder, Flash and Match Cards sets and Video Playlists for YouTube and Vimeo-hosted videos.

There are articles and lessons here on the Community for each of those - but one thing we did neglect was adding those articles into the Collection for the Engage components to help make them easier to find in one place.

We've added those articles into that collection now, and you can find the Collection here. 

Look for those articles at the end of that Collection list. 

Hopefully that's a good place to start getting info, but let us know if you have more questions on any of those components!

I would like to use the interactive video template in Flow, is there a tutorial on how to use the Question buttons?  I would like the learner to engage with the questions when I set the video to pause for each question.

Page/Interaction Completion

Hi. I need to "force" completion of interactive elements on pages where they exist and I'm not sure how to show that an interaction  (like a series of hotspots) has been fully interacted with and remains incomplete and prevent learners from advancing to the next page until that interaction is completed. Tile Cards purpose?

What is the purpose of the Tile Cards interactive component? I've searched the available resources, and I can't figure out what it's for. Is it just for navigation purposes, like "Click the icon to continue", or is it meant to display content that's initially hidden when the user clicks the icon? And if so, how does that work? If it's only for navigation, I think it's a little confusing to have it grouped with content-based interactive elements like Tabs and Accordions.

Engage tabsets marked as viewed

Is there a way to remove the checkmark that appears next to the first option in tabsets? The first option is check-marked even before it has been opened. It should only be checked after the tab has been opened. I have set it to display unopened. Flow project.

Customizing the Timeline Component in Flow

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to customize the Timeline within Flow. I am trying to add a border colour to the boxes. If there isn't a feature already existing for that. Is it possible to add my own custom CSS to modify its appearance?

Send xAPI only once even if the interaction happens twice

Let's say I have a toggle that sends an xAPI statement when clicked. How do I prevent another xAPI statement from being sent if the learner changes the toggle? Technically, they could toggle back and forth sending a statement each time and my LRS admin would kill me--he would have to weed through the incorrect ones.

Can you add an image to the scenario builder?

Hi,  I'm using the scenario builder and have a few questions.  1. Is it possible to add images into each speach bubble? I can see the option for audio, but not for an image.  2. Is it possible to format the text, i.e. if I want to bold or italicising something?  3. Is it possible to add in links to pop ups or hyper links into the speach bubbles?  4. Is there any way I can use the images in the scenario as their own stand alone images? I can't seem to find a full body avatar in the stock media...
