H5P and HTML widgets?

Hi

I'm wondering if it's possible to add a H5P interactive to Domiknow? 
Also, is there any tools which can help you build html widgets that you recommend using?

We do have clients using H5P for a few things but in general because H5P content can be heavy "isolated" widgets each one you load is a full load of the widget and related framework. Performance can be a problem on some devices so use with caution. Also we've found clients who want to use them either run their own server (your geolocation can be a problem for your learners) or export the full widget and upload. I'm not sure if all widgets support an export and upload option.

Use the Insert tab -> web page and provide the URL to your H5P hosted widget. Or if you are uploading a widget use the Insert tab -> html widget and upload the zip of the widget.

Are their specific widget from H5P that you are looking at that Claro/Flow do not already do? We have built a few widgets as native widget based on client requests for the type of interaction.

There are a few which are quite nice. The image drag and drop is a nice interactive. Also the video with MCQs is something I've been looking at.

Interactive Video, you can do that natively in Claro or Flow using the timeline with markers and CUEs and objects on the video. We have a sample in the Market Place called "fire safety" that you can see how we made an interactive video. To get the Market Place Click New, then from the left click market place then click Categories on the left and then dominknow Samples. Scroll down to Fire Safety and click the download button on the right. Wait a minute or two (a bit large because of the videos), once the loading message is gone you can close the window and then Browse and Open the Fire Safety project.

We also have a drag and drop images/text practice or test question (new this winter) found under the Insert Question, Matching. It was one inspired by a clients H5P feature request, the Sequencing question is also a new question type requested by clients.

I am in the process of creating a course that is immersive by incorporating 360 media, predominantly 360 photos. Does DominKnow support 360 media assets that allow the student to interact and explore within the player? If not, is there an HTML player that can be used to support this?

Is it possible to call a function in a widget?

I want flow to send data to a sharepoint list, my idea was to have the course loaded into sharepoint, and have a widget that dealt with list interactions such as read write etc. But I need to call functions in this widget to do this. I addtion I have noticed a couple of API calls involving events, but I can't find any documentation on this, so I'm not sure if these would apply to trigger a function call.

Add an author for tranlsation

Hello. I have a course that needs to be translated. This is being done by an outside vendor who has their own license of dominKnow. When I try to add them as an author/translator I get the message "no seats available." What do I need to do to give them access to this particular course so they can add the translation? Thanks in advance

Sharepoint and Dominknow

Hi,  I have a client who wants to upload a flow project to Sharepoint. I'm not 100% on the technical side of this, so I've a few questions:  1. Is this possible?  2. Can they have it so their users progress is recorded?  3. What type of publishing profile or output is required from Dominknow to make it work?

Hi,  I'm currently building a course for a client and they are wondering if there's any way they can make quick small changes to the course after it's published. Is there any way they can edit the files to change a few words without Dominknow?  This is going to be a HTML Web export.  Thanks Steve

Print and Bookmark feature

Here is a feedback by one of our reviewers -  1.As with other training materials, we feel a printed set would benefit the end users, so they can easily review. - PRINT FEATURE 2. When we went in to dominKnow again, seemed we needed to start over again and not where we left off – just a bit cumbersome. - BOOKMARK FEATURE Request support on this.

File Size

We had finished up a project for a client and when sending over the final SCORM packaged file we ran into the issue of our file size being to large to upload into their LMS. Our file size was 1.6 GB assuming the size is due to the fact that we have 44 videos uploaded into it. Is there a way for us to decrease the file size easily or have any suggestions? We would embedd them using a media streaming service but we need to be able to remove the player controls and automatically go to the next p...

How do I make uploaded screenshots sharp and clear?

When I upload a screenshot and insert it into a project, it always ends up very blurry. I don't see this happening at all with any other image files I upload. Screenshots appear sharp and clear when their image files are opened on my computer, they just look blurry in dominKnow for some reason. This doesn't happen with other images, only screenshots. Does anyone have tips for getting sharp and clear screenshots in dominKnow?
