Pre-Test Bypass

Is there a way to bypass the pre-test based on an assigned variable (either custom or system) when I learner indicates that they are a new hire employee and force them through all of the content? If the pre-test cannot be bypassed, is there a way to make their score null/void so they are forced through the content based on the variable that says they are a new hire?

So is the goal to have a single course ALL users are registered for and the user then indicates if they are new or existing. If new then there is NO pretest and they go right to content - but if they are not new they have a pretest... and then what or?

That is correct. We are trying to create one course for new hires and for the annual certification that all employees must comlete. There are several modules, each with a pre-test. If the learner has been with the company less than 12 months, they are not allowed to test out of the content. They must complete all content.

Currently this won't be possible. The pre-test setting is at the course level and doesn't have an "off" option.  You could create this as two courses and share/reuse the content between the two courses, and then publish them with different publish profiles.  This would be the easiest way to accomplish it currently.

To enable this we would need to look at an enhancement to our contentAPI adding a function where you could trigger an option to skip/ignore the pre-test.  If the above suggestion doesn't work, please escalate this to your team manager and they can work with the support team/account manager to provide this as a suggested feature improvement.
