Where can I learn more about the object structure when using LOs? I am trying to create some baseline content ... can I have an LO at the project level? Or does the project need to be a course, have a module, and then an LO for me to move LO content to a new project (at the course level)?

Can I commit content per LO, or must it be per-page? What do the icons mean, such as Pr? Or is that determined by my local system administrator?

I copied a graphic into a page. I thought it would magically be added to the media library, but I'm not finding it.

Thanks so much for all your time.

Thanks for the great questions, here's some information to get you started on these.

Where can I learn more about the object structure when using LOs? I am trying to create some baseline content ... can I have an LO at the project level? Or does the project need to be a course, have a module, and then an LO for me to move LO content to a new project (at the course level)?

Every Project has at a minimum one Module and one Learning Object.  You can, of course have as many modules and Learning Objects as needed.

This article covers Learning Objects and strategies for their use, instructionally:

Learning Objects – an Introduction >> https://dki.io/1e656c6d

You can copy individual Learning Objects as well as Pages into any new Project you make, from any other Project in your site. Learning Objects can be copied in as Shared (connected across all Projects for synchronized updates) or a Duplicate (a new copy of the LO, not connected to its original for updates). Pages can only be copied in as Duplicates.

This article covers how to search for LOs and Pages to add to the Project you are currently working in:

Searching for content to re-use across Projects >> https://dki.io/59c15639

If you're making what we call a Baseline project to use as a template to start new Projects, the new Project will contain the full content of the Baseline Project. Baseline Projects offer some pretty powerful benefits, and we have a Collection here in the Community with articles to cover all those benefits:

Baseline Projects >> https://dki.io/278c2df2

Can I commit content per LO, or must it be per-page?

Committing is on a page by page basis, but you can batch check-in (not a full Commit) at the LO, Module or Project level to allow other authors to Edit.

This article covers the Commit process as well as the batch check-in:

Working with the Commit Process, Page Versions and the Allow Others to Edit/Edit All Pages Feature >> https://dki.io/65eefb5c

What do the icons mean, such as Pr? Or is that determined by my local system administrator?

The letters that you see on the red or blue icon (red for Claro Projects, blue for Flow Projects) beside each Project in the Browse Projects panel and elsewhere are the Type that the Project has been set to. You can confirm the Type setting on the Project Properties panel:

Editing the Project Properties >> https://dki.io/938a8f31

I copied a graphic into a page. I thought it would magically be added to the media library, but I'm not finding it.

Any graphic added to a project should always be also immediately stored in the Media Library. The Library does have several different interfaces within ONE, including the Media Browser as you work, the Media Properties panel and the full Media Library interface.

Here's an overview of how all of these are connected:

The Media Browser, the Media Library and the Media Properties panel >> https://dki.io/2a065ca3

And a follow up question on this - Where did you copy the graphic from/how did you add it to the page?
