Upload resource? Add resource link to text?

I'm trying to 1.) upload a PDF resource, and 2.) add a link to that resource in a richtext box. I keep trying to upload the PDF, but it won't appear in my project's assets, even in the same dialog I'm using to upload it. It's like it's just ignoring the PDF. But even if I could get that to work, I can't find any information about how to add a text link to document resources. Is that explained anywhere?

Note that the Media Library will only show files relevant to the context you are trying to use them. Your PDFs will only show in a Link To File context to be used as a resource.

Yeah, the problem is that I need to create at least three different links within the same block of text, which is on a slide in a Content Carousel. Based on the behavior I'm experiencing, it looks like that isn't possible. Is that correct?

That is not correct. You can hyperlink every letter of every word in a text box if you want. I’m unclear what your issue is as this should be a fairly simple function. I got that far, but I can't figure out how to use that interface to link to uploaded documents, and when I try to use the Link to File interface to add a link to a second document, it just goes back to editing the first one.

Link to documents in Resource library

I have uploaded documents into the Course Resource Manager. Inside the course I have links to the documents. Some documents open while others download without opening. In all the links I created I selected the "New Window" as the option in which to open them. This happens with files of the same format. For example, one Word document opens in Word while the other one just downloads. I need to create a consistent learner experience. Are there any other settings that I have missed?

Some Themes have the capability to view the Resources (including both documents and links) which is nice because the system automatically compiles them. Is there a way to find out what page the link is coming from though? Perhaps via a report or something else that I'm missing? This would be useful if someone reports a broken link found within the resources menu, but we dont know what slide that link is on. I've read the guide it says to right click another place it says double click neither works in dominknow. At the bottom of the screen I see Accessibility tab with Alt Text and a fill in but can't find a way to made the grayed out Edit Asset button work.

Add a Trigger Type to a State

I am creating a knowledge check and I want to use an emoji  as part of the feedback for the learner, smiley face when correct; thinking face when incorrect.  When setting the trigger type, I clicked element but it does not give me the option to select when correct answer is submitted, so I'm thinking I have to select variable.  How do I set the variable so the state changes when the learner selects the correct or incorrect answer?   Thank you   Dorothy/Elsevier

Is there a way to add a trigger to every page in a project at once? I'm attempting to add javascript that is triggered on page load for every page in a course (after the course was already completed - this is for a migration effort). The only way I can find to do this is adding them one at a time to each page, which is painfully time-consuming.
