Choose from different workflows depending on your needs

The options covered in this article were introduced in the 7.4.6.0 feature release.

There are several places you can start from to make a new Project:

  • The New Project button on the splash page
  • The New option in the top row of the authoring interface
  • The New option on the Application Menu

When you choose:

  • the New Project button on the splash page
  • or Custom Project under the New option in the top row of the authoring interface
  • or Custom Project on the Application Menu's New menu,

you'll see the Create a New Project start panel.

You can choose to create a responsive (Flow) project or a presentation (Claro) project.

The Help Me Choose button offers some details on each of these options.

After choosing the authoring format, you will see options for creating the new project:

  • New Blank
  • From a Copy
  • Use a Baseline (only shown if a Baseline has been created in your site)
  • From Marketplace (only shown if your site has access to the Marketplace)
  • PowerPoint Import (Claro only)
