Easily set up variables for company name, product names and more to use globally in any Project and easily update when needed

Administrators can create Global Variables which are available for use in  any Project in your dominKnow | ONE site. 

For example, you can create a text string variable for your company name that can be used in any text field.

And if the company name changes you can edit the variable and the change will be propagated across all uses of the variable across your site.

To create a Global Variable you access the Manage Global Variables panel:

  • Select the Application menu (1)
  • Select Organization (2)
  • Select Global Variables (3) 

On the Manage Global Variables panel that opens, select +Add Global Variable.

On the Add Global Variable panel that opens you can define:

  • The variable Name
  • Its Description
  • Its Type
  • Its Initial Value

All but the variable's Type can be edited at any later time and the changes will propagate across all uses of the Global Variable in your site.

How to change a variable when ALL variables from a group change

I have a set of variables like var1, var2, var3.
When all variables have a value of 1, I want o set variable part1 to 1 or any other value.
I know that I could use a trigger everytime var# changes to 1 and check a condition if the other 2 vars are 1, then set part1 to 1, but it's not very efficient and gets messy if we add more variables to track.
Is there a way to constantly monitor the values of var1, var2 and var3 and when all are 1, set the new variable?

How can I combine two string variables into a separate variable?

Let's say I have a variable named stringA and another named stringB. I would like to combine them into a third variable named stringC, but separate by a comma.
Example:
stringA = Pleasantville
stringB = New York
stringC = stringA, stringB aka Pleasantville, New York
How might I go about this? I can't seem to use the Set Variable option, because the Value box won't let me put more than one variable in it. Short of potentially using custom JS, is there a way to do this in dominKnow?

Hi guys,
I am creating a solution for our students to get a space to write and reflect on what they have learnt. Not that anyone will check it, it is just to allow this reflection.
But I can see only the Exercise part where you get a summit buttom. Is there any other wat that you know about on how to get this kind of result? Can I delete / dissable somehow the Summnit buttom?
