How to Comment in Clarofy

Have some extra information you want to add to a post in Clarofy? You can add comments to all project types and reply to comments on all project types except questions. Follow the steps below to learn more.

Note: You must be logged in to comment in Clarofy.

 

To comment on a question:

  1. Locate and select the question for which you want to add a comment. The question will open.
  2. Apply a comment by the clicking the Add Comment button located directly below the description.
  3. This will open a text field where you may input your comment and click Add to submit. The creator of the question may receive an email notification of your comment assuming they have email notifications enabled in their settings.

To comment on an answer:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the question to locate the answer for which you want to leave a comment.
  2. Apply a comment by clicking the Comment on this answer link located beneath the answer.
  3. This will open a text field where you may input your comment and click Add to submit. The creator of the answer may receive an email notification of your comment assuming they have email notifications enabled in their settings.

To comment on all other projects:

  1. Locate and select the project for which you want to add a comment. The project will open.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and input your comment in the open Comments field and click Add Comment. The creator of the project may receive an email notification of your comment assuming they have email notifications enabled in their settings.

To reply to a comment on all other projects:

  1. Non-question projects allow for threaded comments to make multiple conversation on a single post easier to follow. To nest your comment with another user's comment and start a conversation, locate the comment and click the Reply button below. This will open a new text field.
  2. Input your response into the text field and click Add Comment. Your comment will now appear nested below the original comment and the creator of that comment may receive an email notification of your reply assuming they have email notifications enabled in their settings.
