How to Share a Project, Question or Collection in Clarofy

Clarofy allows you to share projects and collections to popular social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc. You can also share via email or generate code to embed the project or collection or simply copy a link to share with whomever or however you see fit. Follow the instructions below to learn more.

 

To share a project, question or collection to a social media platform:

  1. Locate the project, question or collection that you want to share. The selected item will open.
    Note: Projects (including questions) can be shared directly from the project tile without having to first open the project. To do this click the Share button (represented by the share icon like the one depicted in the cover art above) located at the bottom-right of the tile. If you use this method, skip Step 2.
  2. To the right of the project or collection title, you will see the Share button (represented by the share icon like the one depicted in the cover art above). Click the Share button. The Share modal will open.
  3. From the modal you can choose to share via LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest or Facebook. Select a platform and it will open in a new browser tab for you to share to the selected platform.

 

To share a project, question or collection via email:

  1. Locate and select the project, question or collection that you want to share. The selected item will open.
    Note: Projects (including questions) can be shared directly from the project tile without having to first open the project. To do this click the Share button (represented by the share icon like the one depicted in the cover art above) located at the bottom-right of the tile. If you use this method, skip Step 2.
  2. To the right of the project or collection title, you will see the Share button (represented by the share icon like the one depicted in the cover art above). Click the Share button. The Share modal will open.
  3. From the modal click the Email icon. You will be prompted for permission to open your mail program. If you want the application to open without prompting in the future, select the Always allow Clarofy to open links of this type in the associated app checkbox then click Open. Your email app will open with the project title in the subject line and a link to the project in the body.

 

To share a project, question or collection using the Share link:

  1. Locate and select the project, question or collection that you want to share. The selected item will open.
    Note: Projects (including questions) can be shared directly from the project tile without having to first open the project. To do this click the Share button (represented by the share icon like the one depicted in the cover art above) located at the bottom-right of the tile. If you use this method, skip Step 2.
  2. To the right of the project or collection title, you will see the Share button (represented by the share icon like the one depicted in the cover art above). Click the Share button. The Share modal will open.
  3. From the modal click the Copy Link button at the bottom of the modal. The link will be copied to your clipboard for you to paste wherever needed by pressing Control+V (PC) or Command+V (Mac).

 

To share a non-question project via embed:

  1. Locate and select the project, question or collection that you want to share. The selected item will open.
    Note: Projects (including questions) can be shared directly from the project tile without having to first open the project. To do this click the Share button (represented by the share icon like the one depicted in the cover art above) located at the bottom-right of the tile. If you use this method, skip Step 2.
  2. To the right of the project or collection title, you will see the Share button (represented by the share icon like the one depicted in the cover art above). Click the Share button. The Share modal will open.
  3. Click the Embed button (the chain links icon). The Embed modal will open.
  4. From here you can change the default embed size of 780 pixels (width) by inputting a new value. Maintain aspect ratio is selected by default, but you can deselect this checkbox if you wish to set the height manually like you did for the width.
  5. Click the Embed button at the bottom of the modal. The embed link will be copied to your clipboard for you to paste wherever needed by pressing Control+V (PC) or Command+V (Mac).
