dominKnow | ONE comes pre-loaded with a collection of themes that are great for Claro projects.

When you go to make a project in dominKnow | ONE there are a number of different Player options to choose from.

Here is a run down of all of them.

Traditional eLearning - uses the Nova Player

The Nova theme uses traditional eLearning presentation with top and bottom navigation bars. This theme is great for managing higher resolution projects and is the ideal choice for projects created from a PowerPoint import.

The top bar displays your logo followed by the project and page title, Transcript and Menu buttons.

The bottom bar displays the Forward and Back navigation buttons and the page counter. When narration is present on a page, the audio progress bar also appears. When a project is viewed in landscape on a smaller device, the bottom bar is removed and the Forward and Back buttons are repositioned to the right side of the page.

Modern Learning - uses the Course Player

The Course Player is used to create traditional eLearning and presentation style content.

There is top-bar navigation with the logo displayed in the left corner of the bar followed by the Menu, Transcript and Audio icons. The Course Title is displayed to the right of the icons and the page count and Back and Next buttons appear on the right side of the bar.

The course progress bar is displayed immediately beneath the navigation bar.

Two other configurations of the navigation bar are available for this theme.

Default Menu options include: Search, Outline, Glossary, Resources, Replay and Exit.

Menu options can be enabled or disabled to suit your needs. There are also five custom buttons that can be linked to URLs.

This theme supports Right to Left text.

Presentation - uses the Presentation Player

The Presentation Player is used to create traditional eLearning and presentation style content.

There is top-bar navigation with the Menu displayed in the left corner of the bar followed by the Course Title, and the page counter at the right. The Back button appears on the far-left of the bar and Next button appear on the far-right side of the bar.

The course progress bar is displayed immediately beneath the navigation bar.
Default Menu options include: Search, Outline, Glossary, Resources, Replay and Exit.

No Navigation - uses the No Nav Player

The No Navigation player allows your content to stand alone, unencumbered by navigation bars or menus.

Create your content in one continuous page of information, or insert your own buttons or actions to guide your learner from page to page.

This theme supports Right to Left text as the author controls all navigation.

Instructor Led Training - uses the ILT Player

This new Claro theme has been designed to help you use content in contexts where you are presenting on a projector, like instructor-led training and presentations.

The theme has no navigation bars – you use a standard remote “clicker” or your keyboard’s left and right or up and down arrow keys or Page Up and Page down keys to move through the content.

If you’ve set up timed events on the Timeline, these will be synchronized to the arrow keys or clicker.

You can make the browser window bigger or smaller or use the browser short cut keys to go Full Screen and the content will expand to fit.

And when you open the published project it will open a second browser window to show the Page Notes for each page, so you can include “speaker notes” just like standard slide decks. (NOTE: You’ll need to allow pop ups for this to work.)
