dominKnow | ONE comes pre-loaded with a collection of themes.

When you go to make a project in dominKnow | ONE there are a number of different Player options to choose from.

Here is a run down of all of them.

 

Modern Learning - uses the Course Player

 

There is top-bar navigation with the logo displayed in the left corner of the bar followed by the Menu, Transcript and Audio icons. The Course Title is displayed to the right of the icons and the page count and Back and Next buttons appear on the right side of the bar.

The course progress bar is displayed immediately beneath the navigation bar.

Two other configurations of the navigation bar are available for this theme.

Default Menu options include: Search, Outline, Glossary, Resources, Replay and Exit.

Menu options can be enabled or disabled to suit your needs. There are also five custom buttons that can be linked to URLs and an option to pin the menu in the open position.

This theme supports Right to Left text.

Presentation - uses the Presentation Player

 

The Presentation theme uses traditional eLearning presentation.

There is top-bar navigation with the Menu displayed in the left corner of the bar followed by the Course Title, and the page counter at the right. The Back button appears on the far-left of the bar and Next button appear on the far-right side of the bar.

The course progress bar is displayed immediately beneath the navigation bar.
Default Menu options include: Search, Outline, Glossary, Resources, Replay and Exit.

Side Navigation - uses the Presentation Player II

 

The Presentation Player II theme uses traditional eLearning presentation. This theme is built using the Presentation Player II experience.

Navigation appears on the left and right of the page on larger viewports and at the bottom on mobile devices. On the top-bar, the logo, should you choose to include one, is displayed in the left corner followed by the Course Title. The Transcript, Audio and Menu icons are displayed on the right side of the bar.

Course progress bar is displayed immediately beneath the navigation bar.

Default Menu options include: Search, Outline, Glossary, Resources, Replay and Exit.

Vertical Scrolling - uses the No Navigation Player

 

The No Navigation theme allows your content to stand alone, unencumbered by navigation bars or menus. This theme is built using the Vertical Player experience.

Create your content in one continuous page of information, or insert your own buttons or actions to guide your learner from page to page.

This theme supports Right to Left text as the author controls all navigation.

Storytelling - uses the Story View Player

 

The Story View theme is ideal for traditional eLearning and presentation-style content. This theme is created using the Story View Player experience.

This theme contains a home page that displays a logo, Course Title and Start button and a list of the learning objects and their pages in a Table of Contents layout.

Once the Start button is selected, you are brought to the first page and the information from the home page moves to the left panel. Pages within the learning objects are marked to indicate which have been viewed. The left panel can be closed by clicking the Menu icon on the top left of the navigation bar.

Page navigation appears when you scroll to the bottom of each page.

Chapter Based - uses the Knowledge Base Player

 

The Knowledge Base theme is ideal for informal learning aid, knowledge base, or performance support.

There are no Forward and Back buttons. Learners use the Search field to locate the information they need to help them carry out the task they need to complete, or they may navigate through the menu to find information.

On smaller viewports the menu is collapsed to make maximum use of the space available for articles. The menu can be opened at any time using the menu button in the upper-left corner.

Chapter Titles - uses the Tutorial Player

 

The Tutorial theme is ideal for delivering small topic-driven forms of content.

Projects with multiple learning objects will open with a home page. The home page offers a bulletin board-style visualization where each learning object is represented by a card on the board.

Each card displays the learning object's hero image, title and description along with the predicted completion time and View button which allows the user to jump directly to the topic.

The navigation bar appears to the left of the content and displays a menu icon and learning object title with its numbered pages listed vertically below.

Page navigation appears at the bottom of each page.

Section Navigation - uses the Vertical Player

 

The Vertical Player is used to create vertical learning experiences. 

This Player can contain a top navigation bar, a menu, and a bottom sequential sections navigator. 

You can choose to present your content in a continuous vertical stream (Infinite Scroll) or present your content one section at a time providing section navigation at the bottom of each section (Reveal and Scroll).

Pinned Outline - uses the Course Player

 

The Pinned Outline theme uses traditional eLearning presentation and is built using the Course Player experience.

There is top-bar navigation with the logo displayed in the left corner of the bar followed by the Menu, Transcript and Audio icons. The Project Title is displayed to the right of the icons and the page count and Back and Next buttons appear on the right side of the bar.

The progress bar is displayed immediately beneath the navigation bar.

Two other configurations of the navigation bar are available for this theme.

Default Menu options include: Search, Outline, Glossary, Resources, Replay and Exit.

The outline is pinned in the open position.
