Files such as PDFs, other documents, and Media files can be added as a Project (Course) resource. They will be included in the published project under the Resources list available on the navigation bar's menu, in Themes that support this feature.

If you no longer need a file to be included as a Resource, it can be removed.
To remove a Resource file:
Use Close to close the Course Resource Manager panel.

I'm trying to 1.) upload a PDF resource, and 2.) add a link to that resource in a richtext box. I keep trying to upload the PDF, but it won't appear in my project's assets, even in the same dialog I'm using to upload it. It's like it's just ignoring the PDF. But even if I could get that to work, I can't find any information about how to add a text link to document resources. Is that explained anywhere?

I have uploaded documents into the Course Resource Manager. Inside the course I have links to the documents. Some documents open while others download without opening. In all the links I created I selected the "New Window" as the option in which to open them. This happens with files of the same format. For example, one Word document opens in Word while the other one just downloads. I need to create a consistent learner experience. Are there any other settings that I have missed?
Some Themes have the capability to view the Resources (including both documents and links) which is nice because the system automatically compiles them.
Is there a way to find out what page the link is coming from though? Perhaps via a report or something else that I'm missing?
