Provide learners with a default or customized printable certificate of completion 

You can include a printable certificate of completion for your learners in your project, if needed.

You can provide them with the default certificate, or provide a customized certificate based on one of our available templates or built from scratch.

The certificate will be available to the learner on the Project endscreen if they have completed all learning content and passed the test (if a test is included).

And you can control whether the certificate is available at all. Your organization may choose to use the certificate features available in your LMS for consistency rather than a certificate provided by the dominKnow | ONE course, for example, in which case you can turn of the in-Project certificate feature by changing a setting in the Publishing Profile.

Creating a Custom Completion Certificate

The Certificate is one of the Master Pages available for a Project.

On the Project tab (1) on the panel to the left of the authoring stage, select Masters (2).

You can see the Certificate listed under the Endscreens.

Projects are set to use the Default Certificate. To make a custom certificate, select the Default Certificate in the list (3). 

You can use a template and modify it, or copy an existing Certificate from a Project or a Baseline. 

Working with a Template Certificate

The certificate templates (as well as the default certificate) are set up to use system variables to populate many text fields that the learner will see.

These include the system variables for: 

  • The phrase "Certificate of Completion" at the top, which is translated into all available languages and will switch automatically based on the Project's language setting
  • The learner's name as pulled from the LMS 
  • The Project (course) name
  • The date the certificate is being printed
  • Text instructions for printing the certificate, also translated into all available languages and will switch automatically based on the Project's language setting  

You can remove any of these if you wish, and also add other system variables such as the learner's test score to the certificate.

You can also add any branding such as organization logos or other design items.

Reverting Back to the Default Certificate from a Custom Certificate

To revert from a custom certificate back to the default certificate:

  • Select the Certificate (1)
  • Select the three-dot menu (2)
  • Select Delete (3)

You'll be shown a prompt to confirm that you want to revert to the default certificate. 

If you confirm the revert, the default certificate will be displayed again under the Endscreens.

You can stay with the default, or select it again to set a different custom certificate.

Controlling Whether the Certificate is Available

You can control whether the certificate is available in the Project (course).

The Publishing Profile has a setting, Display Completion Certificate, in the Content Options section.

Selecting this option includes the certificate, deselecting it turns off the certificate in the Project.

This setting is off by default.

Sorting activity with images

Hi, 
I'm trying to make a simple activity, where I want the learners to drag and image into the correct bin. 
Something like the sorting activity that's there but using images to sort. Is there a way to add images to the sorting activity? 
This is only meant to be a low stakes, light interactive, so I would like for it to be inline, with imediate feedback as the person drags each card.
Is this possible?
