Quickly and easily add Elements to a Claro page or Sections to a Flow page

When working on a Page you can access the Add to Your Page panel by selecting the + sign button:

In Claro, the Add To Your Page panel lets you add elements to the current page.

In Flow, it lets you add elements in a new section to the current page.

Favorites Tab

When the panel opens, it shows the Favorites.

There are some Favorites added by default and you can easily add your own and also remove any of the default options.

When you roll over any element/section type and pause, a panel opens with a short animation to help you understand the element.

To add an element/section to the page, simply select it.

At the bottom of the Favorites you'll see:

  • In Claro, Saved Layers and Project Layers.
  • In Flow, Saved Sections and Project Sections

Adding and Editing Favorites

You can easily add options to the My Favorites list as well as remove items at any time.

The Favorites lists are separate for Claro and Flow.

Adding something to the Favorites list in one authoring option doesn't add it in the other authoring option.

Saved Layers/Sections and Project Layers/Sections

The Saved Layers/Sections and Project Layers/Sections allow you to quickly create your own library of Claro Layers and Flow Sections to add to any page.

You can add your own Layers or Sections to the respective library while working on a Page.

When you select a Layer in a Claro page or a Section in a Flow page, the Selection Control bar above the stage includes an option called Favourites. There are two options:

  • The Add to My Layers/Sections option saves the Layer or Section so it can be found for you to add to any Project.
  • The Add to Project Layers/Sections saves the Layer or Section so it can only be found in the current Project.

Here are full details on how to work with Saved Layers in Claro.

Here are full details on how to work with Saved Sections in Flow.

All Elements/Sections

In Claro the second tab on the Add to Your Page Panel is All Elements.

In Flow the second tab is All Sections.

Each of these offers a full list of elements/sections that can be added to your page.

When you roll over any element/section type and pause, a panel opens with a short animation to help you understand the element.

To add an element/section to the page, simply select it.

The Star icons beside each category headers allow you to save elements or sections to the Favorites tab.

Searching

The third tab on the Add to Your Page panel in both Claro and Flow is Search.

It lets you search for Pages to add to your current page.

In Claro, the page is added as a Layer.

In Flow the page is added as a Section.

You can select to search across all Projects or just in Baseline Projects, or to Browse for a specific Project.

The search feature will search against:

  • All text on a page
  • The title, description and keywords for the page
  • The title, description and keywords for assets on a page
  • The transcript of the page

The Search will not include any content in the current Project you are working on.

The Search will only return results for Claro or Flow content based on the current project you are working in.

The Advanced Filters help you target the search.

For example, you can target specific Categories or Collections, or who created the content if you know the original author.

Note: You can only search against Projects for which you have editing permission or which have been set to be searchable by an Administrator.

Once the search is completed, the results will be shown below the Advanced Filters on the panel.
