Steps to edit a Callout component.
Use callouts to set apart certain information, and add various styles, borders and icons. This lesson covers controlling the display properties of the Callout component to suit your design needs.
00:00 Select the Callout on the page.
00:04 To edit the content within the Callout, select the Edit Icon in the Inline Toolbar, or double-click the Callout.
00:08 Select the Text Placeholder to edit it and we'll add text for you.
00:12 The new text is added.
Select the + icon at the bottom of the component to add more content layouts to the Callout.
00:16 Select the Single-Body Content option.
00:20 You can use the options to add specific content to this new layout.
Select the three-dot menu in the Inline Toolbar. Have access to the Options and FX tabs, Accessibility panel, and add a New Comment, or Delete the component.
00:24 Select Options.
00:28 The Options tab has a number of design options for the Callout component as a whole. You can change the look of the Callout by changing the color, adding a border, and adding an icon. Use the down icon under Styles to open the full Styles panel. Use the FX tab to add Entrance Effects to the Callout.
Under Styles, select the Orange option.
00:32 The Style of the Callout has changed.
To add an Icon, select Icon under Labels in the Options tab.
00:36 An Icon appears on the Callout, to change the icon, double-click the Icon within the Callout.
00:40 The Pick an Icon popup shows, select the Checkmark Icon.
00:44 Select Ok.
00:48 The Icon is added.
Select the Page to return to the Page content.
00:52 Preview the Current Page to see how the Callout will look and behave for your learners.
