Steps to duplicate a Project for a second language so you can make localization changes before exporting the translation file.
This creates a second, separate project for the second language.
00:00 From any Project, select Open to access the Browse Projects panel.
00:04 Select the Project from the list.
00:08 Select Actions.
00:12 Select Duplicate for Translation.
00:16 Select the --Select a language-- menu.
00:20 Select the language you wist to translate into, in this example we'll choose French - Canada : Français - Le Canada (fr-CA).
00:24 You can choose to keep author assignments, so authors assigned to the parent Project will also be assigned to the second-language project.
You can choose to copy source glossary items into the second-language project.
Select Duplicate.
00:28 Once the duplication process is complete, the Browse Projects panel will refresh and the duplicated project will be shown as a child of the first language project.
You can now open it and make changes for localization.
Any text provided by dominKnow | ONE such as end screens or navigation text will be set to the second language.
Any author-added text such as on pages or in the Page Structure text will still be in the first language.
When the localization edits are complete you can export the text translation file.
