There are a lot of use cases for providing documents or files for learners to download or open as part of a learning experience.
One way to do this is to add a Link to File action to an element, which will open the file when a learner clicks on the element.
You can link to any file from the Media Library, including documents, PDF files and media like image, audio or video files.
Many themes have a Resources button under the Menu options.
When you set a button (or other element) with a Link to File action the file is automatically added as a Resource for the Project. If the learner doesn’t download it on the page where the button is, it’s always available under the Resources on the Menu.
The asset file details are now shown on the right-side panel. You can choose whether the file should open in a New Window or in a Modal Window over the content page. For this example we'll leave the drop down set to New Window.

What do I have to do to make them active and let the student jump to pages when they click on an option? I read through the menu options in the community, but I didn't see a clearly defined answer, it go...

I can get the two parts of this problem working independently (colour change and string check trigger) but can't get them to work together. I've been able to successfully target and change the input text box background using the theme Add CSS functionality, and i can successfully...
This is really useful, especially for courses where learners need quick access to PDFs or supporting docs without digging through menus. Makes the workflow feel a lot cleaner.
