Step 1

Select (single-click) the List element on the stage.

Step 2

Select the Pencil icon.

Step 3

Select an Item on the list to edit its text.

Step 4

In this example, we’ve changed the text to Step 1. Select the Rich Text Editor icon to add inline formatting to the item text.

Step 5

In this example we’ve set the “1” to be bold and italics. Select Ok to save the text change.

Step 6

Select +Add to add a new Item to your List.

Step 7

The new Item is added and is ready for you to add text. Select the text field and we'll add text for this example.

Step 8

In this example, we’ve added the text Step 4. Select outside of the Item to save the text change.

Step 9

To delete an item select the X. Select the X to delete the “Step 4” item.

Step 10

Select Use Numbers to switch the list to a numbered list.

Step 11

Select No Icons to set the list to have no icons or numbers.

Step 12

Select Use Icons to add icons once more.

Step 13

To change an individual Icon, select it.

Step 14

The Pick an Icon panel will open. Select an Icon.

Step 15

Select Ok to save the choice.

Step 16

The new icon choice is now displayed to the left of the Item. To set all Icons at once, select Set All Icons.

Step 17

The Pick an Icon panel will open. Select an Icon.

Step 18

Select Ok to save the choice.

Step 19

Select Ok to save all of your changes and close the Edit List panel.

Step 20

The changes are now shown in the List on the Stage.

Hotspot Images and Image Label Drag both require the learner to interact with an image to select the correct locations on the image. Steps to add a List Element to a Page.

A List is a special type of text element. It provides a set of unique design and display options compared to just creating a bullet list in a standard Rich Text Element.

You can also target the items in a List to appear in sequence using the Triggers and Actions for Lists.

Steps to edit text in a Text Element.

The changes you make are saved once you leave the Text Element.
