You can change the text for the heading, instructions (if any) and the question by editing the element on the Stage. Select the question text element and we'll add text for this example.
This is a ranking question, so we'll start by changing from lettered (a, b, c) Choices to numbered (1, 2, 3). Select Edit.
The Edit Question Properties panel will open. You may need to scroll down to view the Numbering: drop down list. Select the Numbering: drop down list.
It will be shown in the text editing window. Each Choice is a single drop down list on the page. You set up that list by adding a comma-delimited list of the options. The first option in the list is the correct response. The question will automatically randomize the order of the options within the drop down list when the question loads for the learner. Select the text edit window and we'll change the text for this example.
At the top of the panel, the first option in the comma-delimted list is shown in the Correct Value column. Select the second Choice to edit it.
To add another Choice, add a list in the text edit window. Select the text edit window and we'll add a list for this example.
The Question Feedback panel opens. When you add a question, it is set to use the default feedback for the Project. Click into the text edit area and we'll add Correct response feedback for this question.
Click into the text edit area and we'll add Incorrect response feedback for this question.
Click into the text edit area and we'll add Partially Correct response feedback for this question.
You can choose to set this question to use a different feedback panel style. In most cases, though, you should use the default settings for consistency. Select Done.
The Feedback panel will close. To complete your changes, you need to save them. Select Save.
