After logging in, click on X on the Splash page to close the Splash page.

Select the Application Menu.

Select Publish

Scroll down to the bottom of the menu

Select Targets

Step 6


Select New Target

Step 7


Click on the Name field and enter the desired name of your PENS target. This is the name that will appear in your drop down.

For Type, select PENS from the drop down menu

Step 9


Click on URL and enter your PENS end point

For example http://yourcompanylmsurl.com/scormEngine/ScormEngineInterface/PENS.aspx. If unsure check with your LMS provider

Select check box: Default if you wish this to be the default choice when publishing.

Step 11


Click on User ID

Enter the correct ID to send data to the LMS and then enter the corresponding password.


Step 12


Click on Password

Enter the correct password for the User ID/Secret you have entered.


Step 13


Press button: Create

This will save the PENS target


Step 14


Click on X

This will close the Targets setup screen.


Step 15


Select Open

This will open the browse menu so you can then locate the course you wish to publish

Single click on your desired course.

If you need to edit this project, double click to open and edit the project.

Press button: Actions

Select Publish

Select Download LMS Package

If you ou are using our  Dynamic Publishing option, select Convey Dynamic Publishing.

Select Add New Publish

If this is your first time publishing the course, then you will not see this screen until you attempt republish the project or publish a new version.

Select Standard

Fromthe the menu pick the appropriate eLearning standard for your LMS.


Step 22


Select My Favorite LMS

If you selected "Default" when you added the target this will be automatically preselected.  


Step 23


Click on Publish

Once the publish has been completed, the course will automatically be sent to your LMS. You will receive a message that it was successful, unless there was an error in setup or communication with the LMS.
