    In order to use the Timeline to synchronize events to an audio file the file must be set as Narration. To confirm this, select the audio file on the stage.

    Select the Options tab.

    On the Options tab you can see the Set as Narration button has been selected. Select the Timeline tab below the Stage.

    Select the blue bar beside the first image.

    The bar turns dark blue. It also now shows handles at both ends as well as a pencil icon at the left end. Select the handle at the left end and drag it to the 1-second mark.

    This sets the image to appear at 1.0 seconds, based on the audio file.

    Select the pencil icon.

    Select the Entrance Effect drop down list.

    Select Slide.

    Select the Up icon to set the direction of the Slide entrance effect. Leave the Duration set at 0.5 - this is how long the Slide effect will take to complete.

    Select the handle at the left end and drag it to the 2-second mark.

    This sets the image to appear at 2.0 seconds, based on the audio file.

    Select the Up icon to set the direction of the Slide entrance effect. Leave the Duration set at 0.5.

    This sets the image to appear at 3.0 seconds, based on the audio file.

For Claro projects, it also switches the Timeline below the Stage to synchronize to the audio narration file rather than the default page timing.

I referred to the below link and did exactly as described. We can see the timeline enabled at bottom in the tutorial whereas in our project it is not enabled. What could be be the reason?
