Where can find more info on importing Word files?

Hi there,

I'm trying to find information on DominKnow|One's Word document import feature.

All I can see if what's on the Features page: "Word document import automatically creates pages, practice and test questions which match the set word styles."

Can someone point me to a page or document that talks about this feature in more depth, and what Word styles are needed to do it?

Someone from our team will connect with you on this next week. Word import and structure mapping can be tricky so it is not on by default, we like to provide a small (free) overview training on the data flow.

Yes!! I'd be very interested in this feature as well! It would speed up dev as I can hand off the Word doc to a Dev and away we go.

I know this thread is over two years old, so maybe it's now a feature? But I haven't found it.

I don't want to take in styles verbatim, I just would like to have the import create pages and headings; then I'd apply the Flow styles manually, if I have to.

Please contact support and they can advise on turning the feature on for you to use depending on the version you are subscribed to.

Import Powerpoint - Help formating fonts?

I am I importing PowerPoint files into Claro. I wish to use retain the formatting that Powerpoint uses, however the resulting Rich text elements that are created are in Courier. I am having trouble changing the fonts.

I have tried to update the Styles, no effect. I have tried updating the default Theme, no effect. Can anyone help please.

Word formatting into Domiknow

Hi,  I have a lot of stylised text in a word document that I want to paste over into Domiknow.  Bolding, underlying, hyperlinks and some superscripted numbers. Is there any way anyone knows of that I can get all this into Domiknow, without having to manually re-style everything?
