Accessing the vertical player

There are two options, you can make an entirely new theme with your new look and feel or you can make a Variant of the existing theme with your new look and feel.

The difference between the two options is that the Variant will only allow you to make look and feel/color changes, no changes to the functional options. A complete new Theme will allow you to set up your own look and feel plus change the available functional options. An Admin or an Author can make a Variant, but only Admins can make a completely new Theme.
