Set an Element within a Video to Trigger a Popup

When using the open a popup action in Flow, is there a way to add hyperlinked text in the popup? There's some formatting options for the content but I don't see a way to include hyperlinked text.

You can add the following elements within an Image: Label, Marker, Hotspot, Image, Stock Images, Character, Speech Bubble, Thought Bubble, Clipart, Icons, and shapes.

NOTE: If you have an action with an on-click trigger set on an element layered over an image (for example, a hotspot) plus an action with an on-click trigger set on the image element as a whole, both actions will be fired when the learner clicks on the layered element.

Steps to set a Marker on a Video to increase a Variable.

I am creating a knowledge check and I want to use an emoji  as part of the feedback for the learner, smiley face when correct; thinking face when incorrect.  When setting the trigger type, I clicked element but it does not give me the option to select when correct answer is submitted, so I'm thinking I have to select variable.  How do I set the variable so the state changes when the learner selects the correct or incorrect answer?
