Why is content appearing in the menu (Story View theme) if it has been invalidated via the Invalidate Module action?1467 0 2
We have created a course with two modules. When the learner clicks the button to jump to the second branch, the system adds checkmarks to the pages in the other learning object to indicate the learner doesn't need to review it. However, when the learner clicks the button to jump to the first branch, the system doesn't do this. I'm assuming the Story View theme is set up to only add checkmarks to content prior to the location of the Jump To.
If this is the case, how do we hide the content in the Story View menu if it is attached to this action? Is this related to the use of the Story View theme?

Have you tried using the "Do not publish Learning Object" in the Learning Object Properties panel? That will keep the learning module out of the menu structure. But I'm not sure that's what you're trying to accomplish.

The branching feature will automark pages that the user branches past as completed. This helps to make the course "complete" if the author allows users to skip pages. Of course you can also set the course completion with the Set course complete action.
When creating content that allows a user to branch to different section depending on their role, you will want to use the invalidate module option. At the time of branching you can add a 2nd action to invalidate the module that is no longer relevant. This effectively removes it from the course and makes it no longer relevant to completion of content.
